Bell’s Novatel MiFi 2372 Mobile Hotspot
Bell is a major cable and wireless services provider in Canada. They have recently launched, what’s supposed to be a first in Canada, a MiFi device named Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372. This is an Intelligent Mobile Hotspot. What it can do for you is to let you and your friends share a single 3G connection amongst 5 different mobiles. It’s like an internet switch that let’s you share broadband between multiple computers.
Presently, the device has only been used in Canada. It only uses Bell’s newly-launched HSPA network. SO you all you and your friends got to do is tap into this HSPA network and start sharing your files and music, while browsing the internet with one 3G connection. As said above, it’s only available at the moment in Canada but Europe and North America expansion is in the pipelines.
Technically, MiFi 2372 can support all the popular operating systems- Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. The transfer speed is not bad at all at 7.2 mbps. It also has a slot for expandable memory.
The Novatel Wireless Mifi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot is available in two plans — $100 CAD (US$94) with a three-year lock-in period, or $250 CAD (US $235) with no strings attached.
