In USA, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the 3D concert of Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. In Europe, travelers experienced the unique 3D short film of travel catalogues prepared for them. In Japan, fans happily enjoyed the 3D concert experiment of their favorite boy group called Arashi. All around the world, the moviegoers were awed by the box office hit Avatar. After experiencing all these, somehow, the people began to feel that something is missing in their entertainment lives. They begin looking at their favorite television programs, wishing that they could view it with more enjoyment just like they did with their other 3D favorites. Samsung empathizes with these entertainment patrons, and so, they offer the wonderful chance to escalate your visual entertainment life.

Equipped with a Samsung 3D blu-ray disc player and numerous features such as games and photo viewers, Samsung 3D TV offers you an upgraded form of entertainment without going anywhere in the form of a television. These television sets are usually either LED or Plasma TV, set according to which fits your home better.

Aside from being able to watch TV programs and movies in 3D, Samsung 3DTV also offers you other consumer friendly features such as enabling you to connect to the internet world and lets you access to the Youtube to watch videos from around the world, and interact and socialize with other people in Twitter, Facebook and Pandora. It also allows you to play games by EA and other interactive web-connected games.

In a physical aspect, Samsung offers you a very slim tv that saves you the hassle of locating a good space to place it. It also provides a high quality rated television, making it appear as real as it can, aside from the already reality based 3D features.

After a very successful global launch at the time square, Samsung 3D TV earned reviews, which all holds promise and must be duly noted in considering to buy this product.

Reviewers said that this new Samsung product is very upgraded and unique, ensuring your enjoyment. To them, this product is worth every dollar you’d be spending for it, due to all its features and hard quality 3D shows.

Not all is in favor though. While some applauds this new technology upgrade, most still could not find the point in buying the product. They see it as something that is not practical and a very luxurious item. They doubt that this, and all other 3D TVs, will be easily accepted by the people. This is because they know that it will be very inconvenient and uncomfortable to have to watch in a television set with 3D glasses on all the time.

In keeping up with the emerging technology the world is providing us, it is essential to be vigilant in selecting the things we wish to possess. We must see its practicability and the use it will bring to our lives. We are facing a worldwide economic problem, where a lot of people are having a hard time finding jobs and earning money. At this point in time, every single cent we receive counts. We must make use of our money in the most convenient and worthy manner, and always take into consideration of whether or not the things we are spending for are indeed necessities, something that we absolutely could not live without, or merely luxuries. While a lot of companies offer us both luxury and necessity, we must think critically, think of its usefulness in the next three to four years, and most especially, its quality and durability in the long run.

Many people today have become somewhat addicted to the feeling of the 3D experience. Even if they live far away from the 3D cinema, they will willingly travel just so they can have their breaths taken away by the 3D experience they will have.

However, thanks to the genius minds behind the latest technological innovations made by today’s biggest technological companies, people can now enjoy the 3D experience right inside their own living rooms or entertainment rooms with today’s new 3D TVs. They will no longer have to travel to the 3D movie theater just to get their 3D feel.

In fact, many people have already been addicted to their own 3D television sets that they oftentimes do not want to leave their own homes. They end up being couch potatoes. However, they must know that before they can actually enjoy the 3D experience, they have to get themselves their own 3D TV glasses as well.

Moreover, their 3D will not even work if they do not get 3D TV glasses. In fact, no matter how expensive their 3D TV is, they will function merely like regular TVs without these glasses. The sad part is that these glasses are not included in the TV package. This means that the people need to separately purchase the glasses. This contributes to the reasons why purchasing and maintaining a 3D TV is relatively costly.

3D TV guides today also strongly advise those who intend to have their own 3D TV to purchase a TV set and a set of 3D glasses that come from the very same brand to ensure that the products have been purposely fashioned to synchronize with each other’s functions. For instance, if they have a Sony 3D television set, then they should also get themselves a Sony pair of 3D TV glasses.

Right now, these televisions are selling in the market like hot bread despite being in its introductory phase. In fact, they are somewhat expensive that only those who come from rich families or who are presently rich can get one. To date, there are still no cheap versions of these 3D TVs.

Still, the number of positive comments they have been getting is very overwhelming. It seems that the public is just waiting for cheaper counterparts to be released and distributed so that they can immediately rush to the nearest technology store to get their own 3D TV and get in on the fun.

Ever heard about 3D TVs? Well, having a three-dimensional TV is not impossible. After all 3D images have already been developed in the world of photography and film.

You may not know it but 3D images in films were once very popular even before World War II. But when the war ended, this type of 3D technology was no longer seen. It is only now that some companies have strived hard to produce their respective 3D TVs to be able to compete in a futuristic market.

3D TV development timelines

The use of 3D images is always influential in the 3D TV development in this age. These images were discovered in 300 BC by Euclides. It was only Leonardo da Vinci who started some processes to convert images into three dimensions. In 1844, David Brewster launched the equipment known as Stereoscope. This device can be used in raking photographic pictures in their 3D formats. This was then enhanced by Louis Jules Dubosq. Since then, the stereoscopic camera became popular to every home. But when the World War broke, pictures where then turned back into black and white as inspired by the war journal.

In line with the launch of the stereoscopic camera, 3D development in movies transpired as well. In 1855, a stereo animation camera known as Kinematoscope was invented. It was in 1922 when the first 3D movie entitled Power of Love was shown publicly.

When the television was launched during the 50′s, 3D Movies became even more popular – from Robinson Crusoe in 1947 to Bwana Devil in 1952 to the House of Wax in 1953. But it is sad to note that the expansion of 3D movies was put to a stop in the 70′s.

In the 1990s however, 3D episodes were launched on TV. This was used by most television producers to attract audiences and increase their ratings. Since then, many broadcasting networks from all over the globe started efforts to produce more 3D episodes. Early this year, South Korea’s Korea Digital Satellite Broadcasting launched its 3D Channel. UK will follow suit with British Sky Broadcasting Company’s launch of the Sky 3D Channel by April of this year.

Companies developing 3D TVs

As of the present, there are 3D-compatible TV sets that are out in the market. Those with LCD shutter glasses that operate in 2D mode also have 3D TV capabilities. These ones are creating stereoscopic images typical to what stereoscopes in the older times were able to produce. Television sets that support a refresh rate of at least 120Hz and have an HDMI 1. 4 configuration are all 3D-compatible TV sets.

To improve all these things however and to introduce consumers with the “real 3D TV”, various electronic companies have worked on their respective technologies. For instance, Samsung and Mitsubishi use Texas Instruments’ DLP technology to produce 3D TV models. Toshiba, Sony, LG and Panasonic will launch more 3D TVs by this year. Phillips, will have to wait for its turn until 2011 as it is still developing 3D television sets that will no longer need special glasses
