I have a blackberry 8700g and I don’t wanna ruin the battery so how will I know when it’s fully charged?Does the green blinking light stop blinking? Because the battery bar is full up but but it doesn’t say fully charged or anything?

When I open an email on my blackberry it will mark it as read in my outlook inbox, this is ok. However, if I open the email in outlook first it will not mark it as read on my blackberry. Can this be done? We are using an exchange server to manage email but we do not have blackberry enterprise server.
