How can I hook up a coax cable to an HDTV?

Search Gaming or Gadget Information (i.e “Xbox 360″)

I am getting an HDTV mainly to use for gaming and movies. I have cable in my room coming out of a coax cable from the wall. The HDTV does not have a coax port, is there any way to hook this cable up?

How do I hook up my HDTV off air antenna when I have regular basic cable?

I currently have basic cable through TVMAX. I have an HDTV with a built in ATSC tuner. I also have an HDTV antenna. However, my tv only has one port to hook in a cable plug. Either I have to unplug my cable to get the antenna hooked into the tv, which means I don’t get my cable channels, or vice versa. Do I need a splitter, or how do I go about using my analog cable, and hooking up my new antenna for over the air HDTV?

How do I get cable from a coaxial output onto my HDTV monitor?

I just recently moved into a new apartment and I found out from my neighbor that our cable was already turned on without a subscription service. She plugs her coaxial line straight into her TV and gets about 100 channels. I have an older Akai HDTV Monitor. . . How do I get cable from the coaxial output into my monitor without subscribing via the cable company? I already tried using an ATSC Tuner which worked nicely except I only got local channels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .

I have an outside antenna that uses a coax cable for HDTV. Do they make a coax to HDMI cable adapter?

Now it seems to me that cable companies run Coax to all of their customers, and charge for HD. Now using my attic antenna I have a coax cable running from that to my TV and get up to 1080i Broadcast signal. Now if it is that difficult to make a converter, why am I only using a coax cable to my television to get HDTV?
