Can I get the Android lock on my iPod touch 4thG without jailbreaking it?

I want the cool Android lock where there’s nine dots and you slide your finger a certain way through the dots to unlock your iPod, but I heard you have to jailbreak it. I want to try and avoid this. Any way this is possible? And if not, can you give me the advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking my iPod?And if there is an app, could you tell me what to search? I can’t seem to find it.

How to use my android phone as an iPod?

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 with android 2. 1 installed on it. The music player on this phone is very basic. I like to able to look through my albums on my iPod but I can only look through artists and songs on this phones default media player. Is there an app on the android market I can download that does the same thing as an iPod. By the way, I like to look at albums individually. Thank You !
